A man sitting on a chair with a golden retriever dog in a wood-paneled room. The room has shelves loaded with art supplies, photographs, and a small computer monitor. The man is smiling, wearing a black t-shirt and shorts, with glasses hanging on his shirt. There is a window at the back with curtains and a window seat. The room contains desks with papers and art projects, and a ceiling fan overhead.

About Scott

My interest in art began in high school and has since guided much of my creative journey, including a career in architecture. Drawing has long been a tool for me, one that helps me understand, explore, and communicate ideas.

While living in Italy from 2004 to 2008, I became more intentional about using art as a means to capture the beauty, complexity, and emotion of my surroundings. It was there that I discovered watercolor as the ideal medium for my style: fluid, expressive, and well-suited to both observation and imagination.

Since then, I’ve worked to bring art more fully into my life, developing a visual language that continues to evolve. Whether exploring my fascination with marine life or seeking to understand the spirit of a place I’ve traveled to, my goal is the same–to interpret the world through imagery and to tell a story through each piece.

I hope my work invites you to pause, reflect, and perhaps find your own story within it. Thanks for visiting!
